Mobile Terms & Conditions

These Mobile Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to the SMS and MMS text message program operated by Citizens to Elect Patrick Kapenga ("we," "us," or "our") in connection with the campaign for Patrick Kapenga, Republican candidate for Michigan House of Representatives, District 89. By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms.

When you opt in to our text messaging program, we may send you recurring messages related to the campaign, including:

• Campaign news and updates
• Event invitations and reminders
• Get-out-the-vote (GOTV) reminders
• Volunteer and grassroots organizing opportunities
• Donation and fundraising appeals
• Advocacy and issue-based messaging

You may opt in to receive text messages by providing your mobile number and consent through one of our sign-up forms or by texting a designated keyword to our number. Consent to receive automated text messages is not a condition of any purchase, donation, or volunteer participation.

Message frequency varies. By opting in, you can expect to receive up to 10 messages per month, though the number may be higher during key periods such as elections or major campaign events.

Message and data rates may apply. Any charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan and any applicable fees. We are not responsible for charges incurred from your participation in the program.

You can cancel the text messaging program at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send the message STOP, we will send you a reply confirming your unsubscription. After this, you will no longer receive messages from us. If you would like to rejoin, simply opt in again as you did the first time and we will resume sending messages to you.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your wireless service provider and is not guaranteed. Supported carriers may change without notice and may include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and other major and regional U.S. carriers.

We respect your privacy. We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Information you provide is handled in accordance with our Data Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued participation in the text messaging program after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
